Wax Safety – CLP labels on each pack. Fragrance Safety Data Sheets available on request. Always use a heat resistant mat with any Tea Light Warmer to prevent surface damage.
DO NOT overheat wax! Overheated wax will smoke and is a safety hazard, it will also burn the fragrance oils much faster if overheated. Keep Tea Light wicks Trimmed to around 3-4 mm – this is especially important when using smaller wax warmers! Only Use a maximum 4 hr Unscented Tea light. Do not use an 8 hour tea light and do not use more than one tea light at a time. Inspect warmers for chips, cracks or any other damage and do not use if at all damaged. No candle should be left unattended, Extinguish if leaving the room for any length of time. The general advice is Do not burn candles for more than 3-4 hours at a time, however, Ellie’s Craft House advice is to only keep a wax warmer with Tea light lit for maximum 1-2 hours at a time, unless of course your particular warmer states an even shorter time – in which case you should follow those guidelines. Keep burning candles and hot wax away from children & pets. Ensure there is no overhanging curtains etc. Do not burn candles in draughty areas. Do not add water to melted wax. Do not move a candle when lit, wait till it is cool and set hard.
